Latest episode of Gravity Falls aired last night!  I had a lot of fun experimenting and finding my approach to painting Bill Cipher’s world! Art direction by the undisputed art director of the multiverse Ian Worrel. Layouts by Janine Chang, and SunJae_Lee . This is def. one of my favorite episodes we made so far for the second season. Alex is already posting more from this episode over at the Gravi-Team Falls tumblr. Enjoy!

The first BG Paints I did for Gravity Falls season 2. Some underground tunnel and lab stuff from “Into the bunker” Layout by our talented design team and Art director.

One of my first jobs when I joined the team on Gravity falls was to experiment with some color keys for the season premiere of season 2. I’m happy to say most of it made it all the way through to the final cut. Some changes were made down the line, especially through out the party scenes to help simplify the overall scheme but every change made for a stronger episode. Big thanks to Alex Hirsh and Ian Worrel for all their trust and support. Follow our shows Tumblr for regular updates as new shows hit the air! (as well as constant updates from the super power that is our lead character designer Robert Ryan Cory

Last year I had the pleasure of joining the talented crew over at Disney TV to contribute to the second season of Alex Hirsh’s Gravity Falls! Our season premiere aired a couple weeks ago so the crew and myself are finally able to share what we’ve been working on. I’m really happy with how the episode came together and the 2nd season as a whole is turning out to be something really special. I’ll continue to post artwork as the new episodes roll out. The 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and last images are designed and painted by myself, the 2nd, 7th, 8th, and 9th were designed by our talented layout crew, and painted by me.  I’lll have to find and share the links to their sites soon! All artwork overseen by the amazing art director all around super boss man Ian Worrel.  UPDATE: Forgot to mention that images 3, and 4 were painted by me with some color adjustments by Ian.

Anyone thats spoken to me for longer than 3 minutes knows I have a deep rooted love for all things Mixed martial arts and especially the UFC. So I’m stoked to share that my art is being featured on Fightland.com today!  Check out the full article HERE. Thanks to Vice and Michael Hresko for the story.

I’m super stoked to have recently moved down to LA to join the crew on the second season of Gravity Falls.

These paintings were done about a year ago as part of the short releases. We purposely strayed from the usual Background style of the show for some of them. The top one is from "fixin it with soos" and the second is from "TV shorts #1" .

The second season is looking amazing so far, and I am lucky to be surrounded by so many talented people on this show.  Once the new episodes begin airing this summer I’ll continue to post what I’ve contributed to each.  Till then dudes…

Recently relocated from Toronto to Los Angeles so I haven’t had much time to post. In the meantime here is some development art I did back in January for a web series.
